Nominations for the 2010/2011 fellowship year are accepted from 28 December 2009 to 8 March 2010.
The 2010/2011 fellowship year theme is Economic Transformations: Challenges and Opportunities for Canada – what policies should Canada implement to succeed as a strong nation?
The dates for the 2010/2011 working conferences are:
- 28 – 30 May 2010
- 25 – 28 June 2010
- 23 – 26 September 2010
- 5 – 7 November 2010
- 14 – 16 January 2011
- 24 – 27 February 2011
National Selection Committee interviews of shortlisted candidates will be held in Ottawa, 18 – 20 April 2010.

NOTE TO 2009 NOMINEES: All complete 2009/10 nomination packages may be applicable to the 2010/11 call for nominations, at the request of the candidate. Changes to the program have been made for the 2010/11 fellowship year. See Program Description. Once you have reviewed the new program description, should you wish your 2009/10 nomination package to be considered this year, please send a cover letter to Action Canada, together with a revised 500-word statement on the modified 2010/11 fellowship year theme. Should a candidate wish to update any other of the required documents, please include all updated documents in the same envelope as the cover letter and 500-word theme statement. This one package will be added to your 2009/10 file. As per Action Canada’s selection process, faxed or emailed documents are not accepted.
The deadline for submission of all updated documents is the same as the deadline for this year’s call for nominations: 5:00 pm PST Monday 8 March 2010.
